Description

This diverse, native wildflower mixture is specially formulated for woodlands and shaded areas, combining traditional cornfield annuals with long-lasting perennial shade-tolerant species to create a vibrant, species-rich display suited to low-light conditions.

The blend includes key species tailored for shaded ground, featuring iconic favourites such as bluebell, foxglove, cornflower, self heal, wood avens, and garlic mustard. Annuals provide stunning, immediate colour from the first year, while shade-loving perennials establish a long-term, naturalised flowering habitat.

Carefully selected to thrive beneath canopies and in challenging, low-light spots, this environmentally friendly mix brings natural beauty, low maintenance, and extended flowering from spring through late summer with minimal effort.

Best for: Woodland floors, shaded garden borders, under tree canopies, north-facing walls, and conservation biodiversity schemes

Longevity: Annual colour in year one, long-term perennial woodland habitat thereafter

Key benefits:

  • Tailored specifically to thrive in heavy shade and low-light woodland conditions
  • Features essential biodiversity species including bluebell, foxglove, cornflower, self heal, wood avens, and garlic mustard
  • Supports pollinators, bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects
  • Low maintenance with flexible spring or autumn sowing
  • Traditional native woodland character for brightening up hard-to-plant shady spots
