Description

Perfect for creating an idyllic garden lawn that your neighbours will envy. This extremely high quality seed mixture is a popular option that leaves an incredible fine finish and requires fairly low maintenance once established. When cut with a mower and roller it will leave a long lasting striped effect.

This mixture is also suitable for quality turf production due to the high germination and seed purity. 

  • Non-ryegrass seed mix for low maintenance areas (minimal cutting)
  • Fine leaved species with a high shoot density
  • Fantastic visual merit and appearance 
  • Ideal for low-medium amounts of traffic
  • Requires a fine, firm seedbed and soil temperatures of 12+ degrees for germination
  • Optimum pH is 5-6
  • Seed is Defra approved and to the highest purity, germination and quality (HVS were possible)

Mixture

  • 45% Strong Creeping Red Fescue
  • 30% Chewings Fescue
  • 15% Slender Creeping Red Fescue
  • 5.0% Smooth Stalk Meadow Fescue
  • 5.0% Browntop Bent
